Rev. Ryan Gackenheimer grew up in Indiana, where he actively attended his local United Church of Christ Church from birth.  Active in his local church, he formed a deep faith and found his way to camp at Merom Camp and Retreat Center, a UCC Church camp in Indiana.  Camp changed his life, providing an experience of radical hospitality and inclusion, and enlivening a spark fueling a lifelong journey of faith.  Ryan is a graduate of DePauw University and Gonzaga University.  Rev. Ryan was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 2008, a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary.  Since ordination, Ryan has served UCC ministries in Vermont and Connecticut.  Ryan loves spending time outdoors, especially with his family, Rev. Abby Gackenheimer, who serves the Bridgewater Congregational Church, UCC, and their son Keadyn.
