Restart Notice -- Phase in Approach

In an effort to keep our members safe and healthy, our building has been closed since mid-March.  At the May Cabinet meeting, our Leadership made the decision to reopen the building for group meetings, effective May 27, 2020.  In-Person Worship Service and All Youth Group meetings remain suspended and will be resumed as conditions develop during the summer and fall.  Our next Regular Worship Service is planned for November 22, 2020.  We are still checking phone messages and getting the mail several times a week.  The best way to contact us is by emait to:  fccbsecretary@firstchurchbethel.org

APRIL  22, 2021

First Congregational Church of Bethel

Cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Plan on an event next year -- Date to be determined.

Join FCCB as we partner once again with the town of Bethel on Saturday, August 29th, for the third annual Bethel Community Earth Day, from 10 AM to 3 PM!

Centering on the Municipal Center lawn on School Street, the event will be filled with local vendors who are dedicated to environmental awareness and preserving our planet. Joining us are local shops, farms, and craft vendors.   Join our Bethel Community as we celebrate Earth Day by coming together to build and support a healthy environment.

Throughout the day there will be music, a kid’s activity station, and service projects including a town clean-up and tree planting.

Bethel Community Earth Day will be filled with opportunities to learn, play, and grow.  Try to attend one of our three 2019 Nature Hikes  and volunteers are always needed for our 'Community Clean Up Day'.  For more information, contact FCCB secretary , or call the office.
