Pastor Donna Cassity has been an Ordained Minister in the United Church of Christ for 20 years as an interim transitional pastor serving 13 churches throughout her ministry. Her focus has been helping churches to heal and revitalize through change. Pastor Donna is passionate about helping young families grow in Christ. She has also served as a chaplain in both university and hospice settings.
Pastor Donna’s background includes being a Registered Nurse for over 35 years and she has served in many roles as a professional nurse. Her specialty is in childbirth education and the postpartum experience. She enjoys assisting couples in preparing for the spiritual journey and miracle of birth as they transition into parenting. Pastor Donna is also an advocate for mothers to be supported fully in the first year postpartum.
She resides in Woodbury and has three adult children: Matthew, Derek, and Lindsay; two married and one single. She has two grandsons and three granddaughters and one standard poodle named Bella. In her free time, she likes to hike and create short stories with her daughter Lindsay who is an author.
