We are a small New England Church located at 46 Main Street in the heart of downtown Bethel, CT and are a part of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ.
“No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
We currently have one worship service on Sunday mornings at 10am. One of the first things you will need to know is that the Town of Bethel allows us to close off the Church side of Main Street to allow our members and guests space for parking. (Please do not block any driveways or side streets.) We like to keep a few spaces open near the church building for those who are handicapped. In addition, we are handicapped accessible, as there is an elevator located to the left of the front steps which brings you both up to the sanctuary and down into Main Hall where we hold coffee hour and a time for fellowship following Sunday’s service.
For those of you with young children we have an adult supervised nursery which accommodates infants-age 5. The nursery is also handicapped accessible. All other children and youth please join us in the sanctuary until you are called forward for the children’s message followed by your departure to Sunday School. Although all children are encouraged to attend Sunday School or stay in the nursery during church services, we understand that some might feel more comfortable with their parents in the sanctuary. You’ll find coloring sheets and crayons in the rear of the sanctuary or ask an usher for assistance.
We’d love to know that you were here - please sign our visitor’s book located in the vestibule just inside the front doors. When you enter the sanctuary you will be greeted by an usher who will hand you a bulletin and show you to a seat if necessary. If you would like more information about our church or would like to meet with our Pastor you can fill out a card located in each pew. The card can be placed in the collection plate during tithes and offerings. Please join us downstairs in Main Hall immediately following worship for coffee hour and a time of fellowship.
